Wedding Ceremony Inclusions: Music

Music can really set the tone for your wedding ceremony, so it is important to choose music that is right for you both as a couple.

I can play your music for you during the ceremony or you can have live music played.

Generally I recommend you select between three and five songs for your ceremony, but it all depends on the length of your song choice, the number of people walking down the aisle and how long the aisle is.

You will need music to cover the following:

• The Processional - this is the grand entrance! Generally you will only need one song for this, but if the aisle is long, you have a lot of people walking down the aisle or your music choice is short, you may need a second song (we will always check the song timing at the rehearsal).

• Signing the Certificates - music is played during the signing so the ceremony doesn't feel like its over. The music will be played at a lower volume than the rest of the ceremony - more like background music.

• The Recessional - this is where the couple are announced and make their way back down the aisle together as a married couple. This is the celebration! Feel free to choose a song that's more up beat and not as traditional here.
